Our community

We're a community of businesses & freelancers. We're artists, chefs, DJs, software developers, gardeners, architects, inventors, casting directors, and more.

Local is at our heart - we want to keep business and the economy local and encourage partnerships and collaborations that bring us all closer together. We are proud to be in the heart of a vibrant, diverse, international local community and aim to represent that as much as possible. We welcome new ideas, partnerships, individuals and organisations so please get in touch if you'd like to talk more.

LANE Casting

LANE Casting is an international team of Casting Directors, focussing on platforming exciting and unknown talent in a creative and unconventional way.  We work on projects from long-form narrative and tv series to short films, commercials, music videos, stills and special projects. Our approach creates a safe space for a more universal type of casting, celebrating all types of diversity and ability, and giving the spotlight to those who may not previously had the chance to stand under it.

Brixton Radio

Born out of constraint, confinement and isolation in ‘lockdown’, brixton radio was launched to provide a community hub for artists, musicians and creatives to give freedom to express themselves, share ideas and promote their work always with the local community at its heart.

Founded by the mr ben agency who saw an opportunity to bring together our current artists, collaborate with local brands and local venues and go back to our grass roots. Supported by our wealth of experience which has its roots deeply set into the live music scene.

Plan 9 - web developers

Plan 9 develop content managed websites including the one you are looking at now. We work for a number of clients in both the private and public sector.

We took over what is now called Unit Z in 2019 and refurbished what was once an industrial unit. It's now an architect-designed co-working space. It's a great space to work in - the yard itself is an oasis of calm in the middle of the city and it's super-convenient for my 5-minute commute from Camberwell.

David Money Architects

Ultimately, architecture is not about drawings, models, computer simulations or websites, however seductive we may strive to make them. Nor can it be truly found in theories and the spoken or written word. Architecture is above all a practical art and is a physical thing you can touch, move through and shelter within. If it's good it should also inspire and uplift. Successful design reflects this reality, and is the stronger for it.

Sofia Ceramics

Sofia Ceramics is based in Vincent's Yard where we form, fire and ship our dinnerware to restaurants around the world. Each piece that we designed has its own unique production process, using various methods. Our studio is equipped with 3 kilns and that we open each day with a thrill to discover finished pieces we loaded the day before.

The medium for the creation is clay and porcelain which gains shape and value through the hands of the artist, as well as the discipline and peculiarity of an everlasting material.
